Meet Paris
I'm an 18-year-old recent high school graduate with my plans for college this fall still up in the air. I won't be going away to college, if anything [college related] I'll be taking my prerequisites at the community college. However, my true desires lie within taking a gap year. The idea of excluding a classroom out of the next year of my life, after spending so much of my time in them for the last thirteen years, is ideal to me. My heart is truly a suitcase, and I'd love the opportunity to do some traveling and learn from experiences of my own rather than from those out of a textbook. Even more so, I'd love an entire year to be able to focus, uninterrupted, on my health, happiness, and fitness as well as having free-range of my time to attain some of my ultimate goals.
Throughout my entire life I have always had an awareness of health and nutrition, and a particular interest in implying it's principles to my life, though there have certainly been times that I have neglected them. Last summer I had a health "fad," but I am now determined to make being healthy and fit my lifestyle.
Along with my fiture, I am looking forward to a plethora of other things in my self-development. My biggest reason for not going away to college this fall is because I essentially have not a clue of what I want to do in the coming years of my life. I've always been a bit scattered, with my interests all over the place. Growing up I remember being involved in everything from playing the violin to jumping off dirt ramps on my bmx bike. My life is still kind of that way, and although I wish I could just go back and restart at kindergarten all over again, I know that it's time to figure out where my most profound interests lie and among where I'd like to end up in the real world.
All-in-all, though, I'm just a fun-lover of life. You can find me getting pedis with the girls on the weekends and my painted piggies somewhere in the mud, with the guys, during the weekdays. Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little bit more about me and for your interest in following my progress into my fiture; I'm looking forward to following yours', too!:)
